Born and raised in Chicago, I attended the University of Illinois at Champaign, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. My professional training was at the University of Chicago School of Social Services & Administration. I have almost three decades of individual, couples and group therapy experience at Jewish Family and Community Service, the Rader Institute (an in-patient eating disorder clinic), and in private practice.
Following my move to the Bay Area, I have expanded my horizons in social work as a birth doula. Over the last fifteen years, I have been privileged to assist new parents in over two hundred births. In addition, I facilitate a number of parent-child groups and a postpartum depression group at Blossom Birth Services.
